Are you passionate about health, fitness, and helping others commit to their wellness journey? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, people-first sales environment? We’re looking for a part-time sales manager to help drive membership growth, lead generation, and community engagement for our studio.


About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing studio revenue through new member sales, outreach, and relationship-building. This role is perfect for someone with 1–2 years of retail or fitness sales experience, who’s motivated by results and energized by people. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and studio owner to ensure we’re hitting goals and delivering an exceptional experience to everyone who walks through our doors.

We’re looking for someone excited about long-term growth. This position offers a clear path toward full-time management as you demonstrate leadership, initiative, and results.


What You’ll Do

Sales & Lead Conversion

  • Sell memberships and class packages by connecting with prospective members and presenting our offerings in a compelling way.

  • Follow up with warm leads daily via phone, text, and email.

  • Present membership options after a prospective member’s class experience.

  • Track and report sales activity consistently.

Lead Generation & Grassroots Marketing

  • Build awareness in the community through strategic outreach, events, and partnerships.

  • Distribute flyers, attend local events, and network with nearby businesses to drive new leads.

  • Leverage social media and referral programs to encourage ongoing interest.

Closeout Sales Activities

  • Execute focused email and phone outreach to prospects during mid-month and month-end pushes.

  • Track all prospect communications and stage in CRM or studio software.

  • Follow up on past intro offers, expired trials, and pending memberships to support conversion goals.

  • Work closely with the GM to prioritize prospects and contribute to meeting monthly sales targets.

Retention & Member Engagement

  • Help onboard new members and support their fitness journey to keep them motivated and attending regularly.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, remembering names, goals, and preferences.

  • Support re-engagement efforts for former and inactive members.

Studio Support & Collaboration

  • Assist with front desk coverage, class check-ins, retail sales, and minor operations.

  • Contribute to a positive, high-energy, goal-oriented team culture.

  • Attend regular team meetings and share ideas to improve performance.


What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in fitness, retail, or service-based sales.

  • Passion for wellness and belief in the power of community fitness.

  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills (in-person, phone, and digital).

  • Self-starter who’s results-driven and excited about growing a local business.

  • Organized and able to manage follow-ups and performance metrics.

  • Willingness to be out in the community (driving required).

Physical Requirements

  • May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable with light physical tasks such as setting up event tables or cleaning retail displays.
  • Able to work a variable schedule including nights and weekends
  • This is an in-studio, in-community role — not remote.
